A system once home to multiple lush worlds began its slow steady crawl towards its inevitable end several hundred years ago when its star began to die. Now after so long the once lush worlds are nothing but dead barren dusty worlds, their atmosphere faded long ago. As the worlds float silently in the dark of space, their sun now on the very brink of death, you cant help wondering why, why does it all have to end.............

A very chaotic and fiery image so please no comments about how chaotic and full it is as I was intending for it to be chaotic as an event of this magnitude will be rather chaotic.
I tweaked the explosion on the planets surface thanks to the critique I received on the WIP crop.
Details, tasty tasty details: Layers: 83 (after merging, about 200 before) Time: approx 26 hours Size: 10000x5000 DPI: 500 (don't ask its set as default and I never change it) Peanut butter KitKats consumed: 6
Hot dang, the explosion works flawlessly with everything else and I like the subtle background you have going in contrast to all the chaos. Great stuff man!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have you ever wondered what something meant as far as Photography goes? Things like "Cable Release", "AEB", "C-41", "Neutral density filter", and "Polarizer"? The photonotes.org Dictionary of Film and Digital Photography is one place to stop and get it all answered. This is quite a valuable resource that explains in depth what a photography term means, and will help those understand who might not know what something is.
