Big swirly things

Our next pack for the group Luminarium was decided a few weeks back, the subject is Transcendence, so I wanted to do something big and impressive so I have been painting another galaxy. I have spent ages on it and have changed it many times over but it takes a massive dump on my other attempt in the piece Ascendancy which I liked but after making this one I realized just how bad it was.

Anyway this one is somewhat more epic, with a resolution of 16000x7000 and a DPI of 500 its insanely big and detailed.

So you will have to wait till sometime during the first quarter of June to see this as well as all the other amazing entries

hey, I have to say you done excelent space artworks there,...speechless.
On the other side...Do you use a wacom tablet?, and if you can make high detailed space art with out it...?
cause I cant achive that kind of detail with my mouse...

Have you read any of Stephen baxter's Xeelee sequence? If you have would you ever considered doing your take on the Xeelee's exodus through the naked singularity? I hope you would :D
